Social Responsibility

For several years, we have been sponsors of various basketball and football teams, including supporting the Albanian Basketball Federation. One of the teams supported by SIGAL UNIQA in Kosovo, SIGAL Prishtina, has been a champion team for several years.

Over the years, we have supported various sports genres, including water sports, car races, and mountaineering (such as the Albanian expedition to Mount Everest and the Kosovar expedition to Mount Kaçkalar, Turkey).

SIGAL UNIQA has built the first and only mobile medical clinic in Albania, which offers a wide range of medical examinations, such as visits, echo, sugar measurements, ENT visits, etc

Since 2015, SIGAL UNIQA VitalTruck has helped hundreds of thousands of customers and citizens in every corner of Albania, offering them free medical services.

SIGAL UNIQA is a partner of public and private universities in the country by actively participating in job fairs and various seminars as well as by offering teaching practices in the central offices.

The job fairs developed by different universities were actually the first introduction to some young people who are already part of the SIGAL UNIQA staff.

We highly value the cultural heritage of our country. In this context, in 2012, we restored one of the traditional houses in the Mangalem neighborhood of Berat, an asset of SIGAL UNIQA.

Now restored to the identity and image they deserve, these typical buildings have once again been included in the list of cultural attractions offered by these important centers of Albanian tourism.

For the past four years, the SIGAL UNIQA Art and Culture Club has served to promote many emerging and established artists in the fields of literature, music, and visual arts.

During 2012, the Art Club hosted dozens of cultural activities, including painting exhibitions, musical evenings, artist portraits, book promotions, and seminars on various topics. In addition to these, SIGAL UNIQA has supported numerous cultural activities and projects of both established and emerging artists across Albania.

We strongly believe in sustainable development and have made it a motto of our daily operations. Environmental issues are numerous and complex, and we see their solution through close collaboration with government institutions, NGOs, and contribute to public education.

In this context, SIGAL UNIQA has consistently supported environmental initiatives and activities aimed at raising awareness, legal changes, and direct actions for the protection and improvement of the environment.
